It has badly damaged our tyre causing us to have to stop and for my 71 year old husband to change it. The hole was not red lined cannot think why it was not as huge and avoidable as van coming the other way!

Awful, fell down and off the bike!, 4th April
Unbelievable that this is still not been repaired, it’s even a main road! I came off as had to pull hard to the right an other car was coming the other way! Hit the fence! Luckily I was that hurt and bike was alright!
This road is not safe for ROAD USERS! Not even cars tbh
Please this needs to be resurfaced not just filled

Entire road surface is breaking apart, 21st March
The road surface, or what’s left of it, has been breaking apart for many months now and the winter has made it worse to the point even cars will struggle to get through here without having to swerve into oncoming traffic. Cyclists stand no chance if they hit some of the potholes with the depth and frequency of them

Multiple large and medium size potholes, over 20 in a 40 metre stretch, 5th March
Seriously bad stretch of road surface northbound, with over 20 potholes, some quite deep. Two cyclists came down on this surface yesterday and have come back again today to take multiple pictures and video but could only upload 3 pictures. Surface is seriously bad, dangerous and needs immediate attention

No bud stop or adequate road crossing markings, 5th September
Each day my 10 year old daughter needs to catch the 21 bus from the east side of station road at this registered bus stop. However the road is extremely dangerous as it’s busy, right with low visibility and next to a level crossing, the keep clear sign painted on the road for the railway have faded entirely and there’s no bus stop sign. As such, it’s very dangerous for her to cross and the bus often doesn’t stop. When the bus does stop, it stops hard due to only seeing my daughter at the bus stop at the last minute, and creates a queue back onto the live railway. This is an accident waiting to happen
The location needs 3 things: - new ‘Keep Clear’ signage on the road - a crossing to allow people to get to the bus stop - a clear bus stop sign at the stop, with signage before the railway informing drivers of the upcoming stop immediately after the crossing

Bridge requested over the railway crossing, 12th April
The current crossing is very dangerous for pedestrians as there is no footpath. I request a car and pedestrian bridge over the line due to heavy congestion, danger crossing a pushchair into oncoming traffic just to cross to school, air pollution and litter. Network rail support this request (their ref 230406-000018) and require council approval.

Large volume of flowing water, 17th January
I’m well aware of recent rainfall however soon after the Betchworth roundabout on the north side of road there is quite a stream of water - I’m not sure if this is a spring or an issue with pipes or the main drains. It has made the road into an ice rink in places. Thanks

Pothole on left side of road when heading north on Flanchford Road, a little way on from the junction with Trumpets Hill Road., 15th November
Tricky to spot due to the darkness of tree cover along that stretch. Horrible impact when hit - deep and steep sided hole. Somehow didn't puncture my tyre, but others may not be so lucky.

When travelling northbound on the Station Road (B2032), just before the transition onto the level crossing there are various significant potholes posing a danger to road users crossing the rail line. This is becoming increasingly bad and gets heavy use due to the HGVs that regularly use this route.
