Deep pothole on northbound carriageway, 8th January
The carriageway surface in this area (northbound and southbound) has been awful for 8+ months now, causing cars to veer to the curbside and opposite carriageway. This particular deep pothole has appeared after the recent heavy rainfall and poses serious damage to road users.

Dangerous pothole, 13th November
I am a visitor to this area - the pothole was past CUMNOR school just prior to the Chelwood Gate sign. I noticed it on a very rainy night but it would do serious damage to a vehicle such as a mini or low vehicle. Needs urgent attention. Other parts of that road near the school are also in need of attention.
