Road crumbling loose gravel, potholes., 23rd February
Most of Star road is in terrible condition, and has been getting steadily worse for many months. There are surface potholes of various sizes and the surface is very uneven. There is a lot of loose gravel and bits of tarmac where the surface is breaking up. When it rains the loose gravel gets washed out and often flicked up as vehicles pass over it, presenting a risk of damage to windscreens as well as to passing pedestrians. Some "repairs" were done recently which only lasted a day before the "repairs" failed and the road surface was back to its prior state. The whole road urgently needs to be properly resurfaced.

Overgrown shrubbery from private property blocking view of junction, 22nd May
2 years ago I reported the same issue regarding overgrown shrubbery blocking the view at the junction of the B2116 and A281. The resident has removed their fence panels, allowing the shrubbery to grow through. This issue forces cars to drive into the road to gain a view from the Horsham direction, this then puts the driver at risk of being hit by traffic coming from the Henfield direction. I myself have had issues seeing up the road and I have a history of driving. A new driver or not so confident driver may not be so lucky and have an accident. This needs to be re-addressed.

Potholes on brow of hill, 27th February
Large potholes at brow of hill where drivers cannot see the potholes until its too late. High risk of hitting oncoming vehicles as you try to avoid the potholes. this road damage has been there a long time and no one is repairing.

Path needs clearing from the School past the bends towards Littleworth., 9th January
I have reported this problem many times - nothing is done. It is interesting to note that the council wish to build very large housing estates in the vicinity but it seems that you cannot maintain the existing area properly!
