Driving up to Rusper towards the Star Pub the drain has disappeared and left a massive hole, the other side of the road has a triangle shaped hole where the road is falling apart

Tree Preservation Order Application, 6th October
We have 2 mature oak trees that border our garden at Dial Post Barn with No. 19 Gardeners Green. The trees are approx. 150 years old and are in their prime. They have amenity value to both us and the surrounding properties and we want to ensure they are protected for the future and in the event of any potential development on adjacent land. We would like to apply for a tree preservation order on both these trees.

Two stretches of the road have sunk, 4th December
Two sections of the carriageway have sunk to a depth of approx 15 cm just off the centre line of the road. Numerous scratch marks would suggest that vehicles have bottomed out. Theses have been around for months and are getting much worse.

Pitlid has sunken approx 1-2in below road surface, 26th June
Partridge Lane near junction with Rusper road. At a bend in the road and narrow section, there is a large pit lid which has sunken below the road surface by 1-2inches. It is apparent drivers have been taking avoiding action by moving left into the verge. Pitlid is a hazard to cyclists as the area is not very visible due to being on a bend and also in a dark section of road.
