Resurfacing Lynwick Street Rudgwick, 26th February
Things have been bad in Lynwick Street for many years. The main excuse by the local and district Councils was the presence of Rudgwick Brickworks .We were told that the resurfacing of Lynwick Street will not be resurfaced until the Rudgwick Brickworks have closed. It was closed recently by the owners Harrison’s Farme after the statutory fillings had been fulfilled. This entailed tens of 40 ton trucks entering and leaving the Brickworks 51/2 days a week creating major potholes which meant holes were only temporarily repaired. The state of Lynwick Street now means that it is very difficult to drive on. There are so many ruts and potholes that only a closure of Lynwick Street and a total top to bottom resrfacing will stop the nightmare we residents and our visitors are suffering. We pay our rates and Council Tax and we have waited many years for work to begin soon. Regards Keith Mantle

Pothole about 120 cm x 80cm and 10 cm deep. This is one of several at the top end of Kilnfield Road, 1st May
This issue has been present for many months. Has been repaired at least twice before but repairs do not last. Most cars using this road either hit the pothole or have to drive very slowly to try to avoid it. Many delivery vehicles hit it at speed.

Dangerous path wet path, 30th April
(There is an on going problem with drainage on the road which we have been told will be looked into in JULY)
The path is constantly wet with a build up of algae making the path slippery and dangerous, someone is going to slip over, or they are now walking in the road to avoid path. This path is used daily by elderly, dog walkers, and others. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
This can not wait until the drain repair in JULY

Multiple potholes and mini roundabout in a poor unsafe state, 1st April
Mini roundabout and potholes are in a poor state - potholes have been filled in many times in the last 3 months only to very quickly appear again. There is also a burst drain which water constantly pours out of and over the road adding to the road damage.

Drain blocked, 27th March
The drain in front of Pantiles is blocked and there is a lot of standing water, even though most of the roads and pavements are now dry. I believe Thames Water are aware of a mains leak in the area, but this would appear to be related more to the recent rain not draining away.

Lights are obstructing access for deliveries to my drive opposite, 18th March
A delivery of bulky/heavy building materials is due on Tuesday 21st March and the lights NEED TO BE RELOCATED BEFORE THEN to be nearer the 2 arrows, which will also facilitate exiting the opposite drive to several properties, as exiting vehicles do not trigger the lights to change! +any estimate on how much longer (now 6 weeks) l we will have to put up with severely restricted access?

Dangerous road condition after Thames Water repair, 5th December
After Thames Water finally attended to a water main repair, they left the road covered in mud, several centimetres deep. At this location the road is quite steep, single track and used by pedestrians as well as vehicles. It has been left in a dangerous state for all users. Additonally, this stretch of road is a very bad state of repair.

Water on road even in this heat drains, 22nd June
The drains in cox green by the pantiles Are not draining the water away. I have registered this before but nothing was done as apparently no fault. We have continually had water outside our house now for weeks even in this weather

Large pothole near drain, 2nd March
This pothole has been here for at least six months, covered with a plastic road barrier. It is on the adopted part of Summerfold, so is WSCC's responsibility and is highly dangerous - meaning that if someone fell into it and broke a limb, WSCC would be liable for compensation - which could be significant. When is it going to be fixed, please?

Pot hole and water leak, 24th November
Water has been leaking down the road for months and the previously repaired hole caused by the leak is now enormous. Southern water tried to fix the leak but didn't do it properly and it's carried on leaking for months.
