A pothole has opened up where there has already been a repair just south of the junction with Copthorne Bank. The pothole is where the vehicle left hand wheels run approaching the junction. I believe the potholes in this area are caused by large 8-wheel lorries turning at the junction and cutting up the road. If they were banned from Copthorne Bank and Brookhill Road as well as being banned from Anthills Lane, this problem would be reduced.

Multiple potholes impossible to miss, 20th April
On dukes head roundabout going towards east Grinstead from M23 there are multiple potholes. It doesn’t matter how slow you drive the whole car is thrown all over the place. This has been in a terrible state since before Xmas

Blocked drain and road flooded, 24th February
This issue has been reported many times before. Blocked drain even with slightest rainfall. Result is that water pours across the road. Plus, there is mud all across this section of road that hasn’t been cleaned up, meaning it’s like a skid pan. If it’s freezing temperatures, there’s ice to contend with as well. Come on West Sussex Highways… you ask for the public to let you know when there are problems on the roads; please fix the issues when you are advised about them. If there is an accident here, you will have to account for your lack of action.

Warning sign pointing in wrong direction, 23rd February
A double sided triangular warning sign is pointing in the wrong direction. At present, drivers heading away from Keepers Corner see traffic lights warning sign, when they should be seeing the sharp bends warning sign which is on the reverse. Please fix

This has been getting worse for the past year, multiple broken areas and radial trenches on the tarmac centre joint. Particularly dangerous to cyclists and motorcyclists. Uneven surface signs are not the solution.

Deep ridges around the Dukes Head Roundabout., 7th February
The extremely damaged road surface around the Dukes Head roundabout has been in this state for many months and is getting worse. To add insult to injury ,it is now so bad that road hump signs have appeared on the approaches to it, but there is no sign of any repair work to be done. This roundabout is hazardous to all vehicles but particularly to cycles and motorbikes . When is anything going to be done to repair it?
