FIXMYSTREET IN RG25 3AX
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of RG25 3AX:
More potholes in the village, been repaired in the past but not well enough, now dangerous, 15th June
I am a member of the Parish Council in Steventon. We are fed up with the state of the road through the village. A few days ago my wife's tyre was recked in a pothole in the village. I know that I would be wasting my time trying to claim as you would say that you didn't know about it. I am now informing you that there are potholes at various points throughout the village. All it needs is someone from your department to drive through and inspect/mark them for 'Proper' repair instead of the quick fixes that last a very short time.

1 metre long, 8 - 10 cm deep pothole, 4th April
This is a particularly nasty pothole - one of a series along this stretch of Ashel Lane approaching the B3400 from Steventon. It has today caused an accident resulting in replacing a tyre and having wheel repaired. This stretch of road is in very poor repair. Another pothole close to it (10 - 15 yards) has been partly repaired resulting in a sudden, sharp inclinie which is particularly dangerous to cyclists, walkers and motorists. No pavement here so a lot of walkers.

Huge pothole - keep appearin needs a proper fix !, 10th March
Large pothole - keeps appearing because it is never fixed properly. I have a 4x4 and my wheel would fit into it. Bizarrely they filled a pothole the other side of the tunnel, but couldn't manage to find the ones through the tunnel. This is an on-going problem throughout the village been asking for years for a long term fix - feel like we are wasting our breath !!!
