Cones put in road creating a dangerous pinch point, 21st March
Someone, I suspect the Iron Bull Roadhouse pub, has put cones into the road creating a pinch point with a sign saying "please slow down". These cones and signs are not highways standard and are dangerous as there is no forwarning and this is a 60mph road so a visual pinch point is a hazard.
There are a series of cones in front of the pub with other signage about parking restrictions as well.
I might understand that the pub doesn't like having speeding traffic going past it premises as it likely makes it difficult for customers to arrive and depart their premises - but they have to take this up with the council. They cannot just put cones out into the road themselves.
Please have them removed.

The four way traffic lights constantly change when no cars are waiting on side roads, 20th October
The four-way traffic lights change every time I drive here, which is every day, and stop the main London Road traffic even though there is never any traffic waiting on the side roads. So all that is happening is the main flow of traffic has to stop and idle constantly, wasting fuel and wearing brake pads, when traffic would be better if it kept moving. Are there no sensors in these traffic lights/road surface? If these are just in a timer they could do with an update. Why would they change if there is no waiting traffic?

Overgrown weeds/bushes along roadside, 9th October

Uneven Road - Speed Bump in Road!!, 7th October
Heading northbound after Jct 6 and just before the bridge in the outside & middle lane - There is a raised surface in the outside & middle lanes - effectively creating a speed bump in the faster lanes on the highway. This is causing damage to tyres & suspension on low-profile cars and all cars in general.
This needs to be evened out and fully resurfaced as a matter or urgency as this has been growing for years.
