Gravel and soil in lane, 7th April
Continual movement of trucks from the new housing being built to the northeast of the junction is being deposited on the driver side of the outside lane, reducing the lane width. Needs a street sweeper or similar to get rid of it before it gets thrown up into the path of following vehicles.

Fly Tipping - Rear of 24 Lapin Lane, 6th April
A fence panel has been replaced at the rear of 24 Lapin Lane. Wood and concrete from the old broken fence has been left discarded on the public verge, along with several thick branches cut and discarded from what I assume is council owned hedge. Presumably the hedge was cut down at this point to access the fence to be replaced. This has been there for at least a few weeks.

Drain cover and surrounding tarmac is collapsing, 1st April
This drain cover is in the centre of the near side lane as you approach Hounesome fields round about heading towards Basingstoke from M3 J7. The large drain / inspection cover is aiming into the road taking with it some sections of the tarmac. Reports have been made of instant punctures and it looks likely this will collapse completely if not acted upon soon

Road Buckled across lanes, 11th March
M3 northbound on downhill section, the road has buckled across the three lanes, causing an effective speedbump on a motorway, due to the sharp deformity in the road. Needs rectifying ASAP.

Failed repair, 5th March
This patch on the corner of Kempshott Lane and Heather Way was badly patched about 6 weeks ago and has already failed. When turning left onto Heather Way a vehicle's offside front tyre cannot avoid the hole. This whole corner needs a complete re-surface as it repeatedly fails.

Drainage, 27th February
Metal drainage plate (long strip) was bent by a heavy vehicle a few months ago, it has since been removed by someone and put up against the tree. A new pothole has formed in the same area so it’s very uneven and bumpy, and when it rains, you can’t see the holes as they fill with water so is dangerous for pedestrians

There are several potholes along Down Street, Dummer, including one in the middle of the road that looks like it's a tyre shredder. It is impossible to see when filled up with rain. This section is dangerous and getting worse.

There are serious potholes developing as the surface continues to deteriorate on the roundabout. This is continued on the eastbound carriageway where the trenches dug and filled as part of roadworks last year have now collapsed due to the poor standard of work that was carried out in the first place.
