Need to get out of my driveway, 24th April

Sun, 24 Apr 2022 16:41:02 +0100
53.676296 -2.930108

I have lived here for over 10 years and I'm so upset and stressed out . Apparently all I have to do is ask to get out of my driveway. The turning circle is constantly full of cars and I can't ever get out. We ve been nice, been annoyed and all but both of my neighbors and now all their children do is try to taunt us. We are carers and also parents and they are pushing and pushing us to try to get us to lose our tempers . I' feel so down that for at least the last 2 years I have saddly built a whole collection of their torment. I live in the middle of the two neighbors that are making our lives unbearable now . We've been to the council they say speak to police and they say speak to the council. Please could you help we are desperate now. I just want to get in and out and not need to ask/beg people to do so . I appreciate your help Thankyou

Cars are regularly using the turning point of The Close for car parking. Repeat offenders reside at No's 17, 18 and 21 despite them having parking spaces allocated to their property remaining unused. Letting agents for no's 17 and 18 have been contacted with little or no improvements to the parking problem. The problem is worse in the evenings and weekends and would restrict access by emergency services should they need to access properties. Parking immediately outside no's 15 and 16 is an invasion of privacy as well as an eyesore. Cars exiting from no. 18 have to carefully manoeuvre to avoid vehicles parked illegally on the turning point. Ground in front of no's 15 and 16 was taken away on the instruction of the council in order for the turning point to be made and the road to meet adoption standards. For people to consider it ok to park cars right outside others windows is thoughtless and selfish and a breach of the human right to privacy, 17th April

The tenants at no. 17 Have consistently parked outside 15 and 16 since moving in approx 2 months ago despite them having space for 2 cars on their property. Parking outside no. 18 has improved recently as there were 2 cars parked in the road regularly as opposed to the one now. It has been a longstanding problem there. Parking outside 21 has been for 6+ months despite there being 2 parking spaces available on the property but only 1 being in use.

The front nearside spring snapped when I hit the pothole, 24th February

Sat, 24 Feb 2018 21:25:15 +0000
53.688536 -2.914499

My Audi A6 was damaged when I hit the pothole. The force was so bad the spring snapped. This is the third spring on my car which has snapped in the past year because of poor road surfaces in the area and this is the last I am willing to pay for. It cost me £220 to have it repaired. The mechanic said it had completely snapped. There was no rust to suggest it was worn. The damage was caused by the pothole. As can be seen on the photo the pothole is so deep the strengthening mesh under the surface is visible. I am claiming compensation for the damage caused to my car. I have the receipt for the spring repair. New Lane pace is full of quite deep potholes which drivers need to try to avoid. I cannot understand that one pothole has been repaired further along the road. Would it not be cost effective when a team is sent out to repair one pothole that they could repair the rest on the road to save more complaints and claims for compensation. I look forward to your early reply.

53.682544 -2.922529

The tree's are along the footpath leading from charnleys lane to church road, they are blocking out sunlight, which is totally unacceptable, and during bad weather they sway so much they look like they are going to snap and fall over, there are also a couple of tree's over the back of charnleys lane, between the ditch and north meols medical centre, that need sorting, again because they are a nusance for blocking sunlight and again in high winds,if they are not delt with properly, it wil only be a matter of time before they actually come down on their own accord, someone could get hurt, or at the very least someone property would be damaged, i have phoned the council on numerous occasions, over the last couple of years, but don't seem to get anywhere,
