FIXMYSTREET IN PR6 7US
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PR6 7US:
Street name non existent in the cul de sac, 24th April
I keep getting deliveries for 31 Clover field because there is no street sign for the cul de sac. The delivery people miss the cul de sac and come to us in error. We live on Hunts Field around the corner. This happens sometimes 2/3 times a week. Please could a street sign be placed for this particular cul de sac. Thanks.

Dangerous junction, 14th November
When you drive to the top of Cow Well Lane and try to pull out right onto Chorley Old Road there are cars parked right up to the junction on the drivers right side so there is a massive lack of visibility when trying to turn right especially as Cow Well Lane is very steep as well and very tight at the top for vehicles trying to get down Cow Well Lane. Yellow lines are required on the right side across from the takeaway asap as quite a few times cars come from the right and nearly hit you when you try to pull out. Also when cars are trying to come down Cow Well Lane whilst I sit at the junction they have to stop as its narrow and this then also causes more problems with visibility. Buses come through on Chorley old Road and the vehicles parked on both sided cause them problems as the road is very narrow at this point and all the way down to the COOP

Section of lights not working at junction 1, 30th October
Thank you for your previous response, copied below, however these lights don’t seem to fall into that category. It is a section approximately 500m long, bounded on both sides by working lights and covers a stretch of road where two lanes merge into one at the end of the motorway and the westbound slip road of junction 1 also merges, so should be lit for safety reasons.
Previously reported response. The M65 is mainly unlit to help us support the aims of the Department for Transport to reduce carbon emissions by switching off lighting on carefully selected stretches of motorway. Sites have been chosen where there is a good safety record.

Abandoned vehicles in road, 9th October
These cars have been abandoned and they are causing lots of issues to the local area. They are falling apart and are potentially dangerous. They are attracting local youngsters at night time who hang out outside and inside the cars. They sit in the vehicles while smoking all sorts and playing loud music and generally displaying anti-social behaviour. The vehicles are a potential fire hazard, as they are rusting away and are leaking oil and fuel and attracting the youngsters who are smoking around the vehicles. It’s only a matter of time before something serious happens.
These cars need to be removed from the street for everyone’s safety, as soon as possible.
