Litter, 20th February
From Yeadon Way on to the M55 there is a huge amount of rubbish on each side of each carriageway. It is disgraceful. I cannot think of anywhere in the UK where I have seen worse. I cannot remember this area ever having been cleaned. As it is the main entrance to and exit from Blackpool, a holiday resort, it really needs to be cleaned up urgently.

M55 slip road west, 21st December
Since the Westbound exit slip road from the M55 (junction 3 at Kirkham) has been resurfaced the give way lines on the road have not been repainted. This means that traffic coming off the motorway isn’t warned to give way before entering the motorway roundabout. I have personally witnessed two very close near misses where vehicles coming up the slip road have not stopped at the top and have almost collided with cars on the roundabout particularly given the traffic lights on the motorway roundabout are also not working. This poses a real risk of a serious accident occurring given the speed in which vehicles exit the motorway onto the roundabout. Lancashire Highways advie me this a National Highways problem and have advised me to contact this agency.

Central reservation lighting, 6th August
A lot of the central reservation lighting has failed after where the change over to LED lighting has stopped. A number of the street lighting isn't working on the grass verges either. It would be great to get working especially with Blackpool being so busy with the Illuminations season coming up.
