No established footpath on left hand side of Church Hill Road (indicated on map) road from access to community hall as far as Fort Stamford, 30th December
The weather at this time of year renders the grass verge (on the left) a soggy mess, therefore pedestrians have to make unsafe, and potentially life threatening choices. Either to stay on the left and walk in the road, or to cross over then cross back again at an even more dangerous spot. There is a bus stop beside Tapson Close which should have a safe access to and from it, but there is an S bend. This has become an even greater issue during this pandemic with a noticeable increase in traffic flow to Mt. Batten. At the very least pedestrians would benefit from a hard core gravel path being laid on the left hand side.
