Fallen tree on public footpath, 28th February
A large tree has fallen across the Bovisand Lane public footpath. The footpath is completely blocked and it's not possible to go around the tree because there are hedges on both sides of the lane. The only way to get past is to either climb over the tree (which is quite high 3-4 feet?) or to crawl underneath (which is made harder because the stream is running across the path at that point. I was told by some other people that the tree had fallen down about 5 weeks ago, although I only found it yesterday (27/02/09).
The map reference of the tree is SX 50255 51007.
