FIXMYSTREET IN PL7 5AD
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PL7 5AD:
Blocked storm drain outside of 6 boringdon terrace, on boringdon road, 4th April
When it rains, this storm drain constantly backs up and floods the pavement and the entrance to our property (6 Boringdon Terrace, PL7 4EB) making impassible. Whilst it has been unblocked in the past it continues to happen which indicates potentially a much larger issue. We have also discovered a culvert than runs under our garden and property. Is it possible to understand where this culvert starts from?

Extreemly badly worn road surface in n/s lane!, 13th January
The road surface has been badly worn for a very long time! HGV vehicles have worn away the tarmac, producing tracks in the road surface. When travelling on this section between Deep Lane and Marsh Mills. The steering on my car is draged in either direction , often pulling the vehicle towards the centre lane! This is most noticeable on vehicles with a wide wheel base, namly my Jaguar XF But allso my sons Mercedes C class. Our Kia ceed is allso affected, but to a leeser extent.

Regular flooding, 4th January
The inside lane after the slip on this stretch of the A38 westbound is incredibly dangerous in the rain (inside westbound isn’t much better). The surface holds water like nothing and makes it very very prone to aqua planing, and the huge amount of spray from other vehicles makes it harder to see. There seems to be grooves from how many cars have been over that have allowed it to form. It desperately needs resurfacing and drainage improves before someone is hurt or killed
