FIXMYSTREET IN PL7 2AF
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PL7 2AF:
Blocked storm drain outside of 6 boringdon terrace, on boringdon road, 4th April
When it rains, this storm drain constantly backs up and floods the pavement and the entrance to our property (6 Boringdon Terrace, PL7 4EB) making impassible. Whilst it has been unblocked in the past it continues to happen which indicates potentially a much larger issue. We have also discovered a culvert than runs under our garden and property. Is it possible to understand where this culvert starts from?

Extreemly badly worn road surface in n/s lane!, 13th January
The road surface has been badly worn for a very long time! HGV vehicles have worn away the tarmac, producing tracks in the road surface. When travelling on this section between Deep Lane and Marsh Mills. The steering on my car is draged in either direction , often pulling the vehicle towards the centre lane! This is most noticeable on vehicles with a wide wheel base, namly my Jaguar XF But allso my sons Mercedes C class. Our Kia ceed is allso affected, but to a leeser extent.

Before the deep lane junction there is a sign signalling that the outside lanes are closed and to merge into single file. However these lanes are not closed and so massive traffic is being caused for no reason.

My car skidded on the snail like tracks on road surface, possibly from studs damage. My car is one week old and I was driving at 65mph in a straight line, so this was very unexpected. Just concerned for other road users

The road sign for separating traffic for the Plymouth East end/Kingsbridge/ Plymstock from traffic continuing on the parkway is too close to the slip road. In Exeter there is a 2 mile warning, At this junction it is about 50mtrs., 17th February
The lack of early warning of the problem causes near misses with an accident waiting to happen. Drivers who are strangers to the road sign are inclined to change lanes without warning at the last minute. This is not good in an area where we are likely to have more holiday makers than ever.
