FIXMYSTREET IN PL25 4QL
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PL25 4QL:
Dog poo left by school path, 26th April
It's getting ridiculous now, every week there is dog poo left on the path or the grass. The path is far too narrow for the hundreds of children and parents that use the path daily on route to school, so we all have to walk on the grass and try avoiding it. Yesterday children went into school with poo on their shoes as one was left by the school fence. The dog poo bin is also of poor condition

Traffic lights and lollypop men cause extreme traffic problems at peak times, 7th March
This situation is a joke. Two lollypop men CONTINUOUSLY pushing the buttons to stop traffic at rush hour. I think its reasonable to suggest childten abd parents could wait a few minutes to cross, so the entire line of traffic and people going to work has to stop immediately, causing tailbacks all the way to the B&Q roundabout and more problems there. Ultimately there should be a (safe and accessible) footbridge for the children. This would be a simple and quite cheap solution. And the children would enjoy it. The current system is plain stupid

Pathway full of potholes, dog poo, mud and leaves, 7th March
This footpath could be really pleasant but is ruined by all of the above and gas been an issue for years. You need wellies to walk along here to avoid getting filthy. Get a sweeper down there, fill in the potholes and put a dog waste bin at both ends. Also, the lack of street lighting at night makes it terrifying. You're either expecting to get attacked by a thug or slip on dog poo, fall and knock yourself unconscious.

Overgrown brambles so high they cover entire tree trunk, 7th March
The brambles on the embankment are so overgrown they are covering the entire area and are so high they are half way up the tree. This is having a negative impact on the wildlife and is an eyesore. The area is also infested with litter, which will encourage all kinds of vermin.

Household waste left in gap between wall and riverbank, 7th March
This unofficial dump spot has been an ongoing problem gor YEARS! I have reported fly tipping and domestic waste bring dumped here REPEATEDLY almos5 every week since I moved to this street ajust over a year ago. The refuse collectors ignore it on bin days and its is knly removed if I report it. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! The problem needs to be properly resolved by the council. Just because the embankment is not registered as council land (it is not registered at all), it does not mean they are not responsible for finding a PERMENENT solution to this PERSISTENT problem with household waste and fly tipping on in a public area which is effecting the general appearance and atmosphere of the street and likely negatively affecting the wildlife habitats of the river bank.
