Blocked drains central reservation, 4th September
Central reservation drains on Eastbound & Westbound A30 approximately between Liftondown & Sourton Cross are blocked causing water to flow across carriageway and cause hazard in wet weather. Mud and silt previously scraped away has been left in drainage channel or dumped by side of metal drainage grid and has consequently washed back and covered grid outlet again! In wet weather large areas of water cover the lanes causing a sudden unexpected aquaplane risk. Could you please ask your personnel to clear drain s and REMOVE debris? Thank you

A30 WB Lane 2 just prior to MP 138, water not draining near central reservation. Generally this section of road is difficult in the rain with poor visibility due to light reflection, poor drainage, and surface water spray. Same goes for all thin surfacing on network.
