As a commuter I cannot count how many times there have been accidents and near missing on this junction. The slight bend in the A38 reduces reaction time for road users heading to Looe cross. A solution would be a bridge with slip roads could be constructed 200 yards south as there is an embankment on both sides of the road. Some of the other junctions that join the A38 at right angles nearby could also link to this bridge reducing hazardous situations.

No black spot sign, 28th June
The B3251 onto A38 Menheniot junction has numerous reported crashes and still no black spot sign has been implemented. I was recently involved in crash here and was expecting to find that the junction is a black spot after being told by numerous people and the attending constable that this specific crossing should be a black spot

Overgrown foliage obscuring vision when joining A38, 6th June
When joining A38 from Torr Farm, overgrown foliage is blocking your view of approaching traffic making crossing the carriageway very dangerous. The issue has been present for 3 weeks and a collision was caused by this in the last week.

Wall calapsing, 20th April
Photos don't show the true extent, but wall looks like it's going to collapse into the road. Its been bad for a while, but looks far worse the last few months.

Public toilet covered in large graffiti writing, 17th March
The roadside of the toilet block building has been graffitied. This building maybe managed by Cornwall Council but it has been targeted by the same graffiti vandals that have been spreading out from the Plymouth area. Slowly all structures are being targeted along the A38.

Illegal advertising sign erected by Lambert Smith Hampton, 24th November
This is a substantial advertising sign (3 No 100mm square posts) that constitutes a highway obstruction and could do serious damage to any vehicle that was to run into it. It is located on the westbound carriageway adjacent to the Chequered Flag cafe.

Dangerous occurance, 16th June
Crossing a38 yesterday in low down sports car could not see oncoming traffic because of high grass. being a morgan car the front is very long and i had to put the bonnet on to the highway without vision. very dangerous
