Notorious Crossing Junction, 7th March
As a commuter I cannot count how many times there have been accidents and near missing on this junction. The slight bend in the A38 reduces reaction time for road users heading to Looe cross. A solution would be a bridge with slip roads could be constructed 200 yards south as there is an embankment on both sides of the road. Some of the other junctions that join the A38 at right angles nearby could also link to this bridge reducing hazardous situations.

Fence damaged, 25th September
Wire at the end of the A390 flyover bridge over the A38 between the Morrisons roundabout and the Island Shop roundabout at Liskeard has been pulled back. This allows pedestrian access down onto the A38. This issue was reported back in April but nothing seems to be have done about it.

Overgrown foliage obscuring vision when joining A38, 6th June
When joining A38 from Torr Farm, overgrown foliage is blocking your view of approaching traffic making crossing the carriageway very dangerous. The issue has been present for 3 weeks and a collision was caused by this in the last week.

Public toilet covered in large graffiti writing, 17th March
The roadside of the toilet block building has been graffitied. This building maybe managed by Cornwall Council but it has been targeted by the same graffiti vandals that have been spreading out from the Plymouth area. Slowly all structures are being targeted along the A38.

Illegal advertising sign erected by Lambert Smith Hampton, 24th November
This is a substantial advertising sign (3 No 100mm square posts) that constitutes a highway obstruction and could do serious damage to any vehicle that was to run into it. It is located on the westbound carriageway adjacent to the Chequered Flag cafe.

Safety bridge, 17th August
Afety fence on a bridge has been damaged - the fence has been pulled off and is sticking out into the pavement - no barrier but undergrowth to stop access through the fence onto the a38 below and caller is worried it is sticking out enough to potentially cause an accident

Pothole in middle of carriageway in Eastbound entry sliproad to A38, 23rd March
As reported by another party in Feb 21, there is a large pothole in the middle of the entry slip road to the A38 Eastbound. This pothole is large enough to cause damage to vehicles as was the case earlier today where it caused my offside front tyre to puncture.

The A390 Roundabout, Morrisons to Premier Inn Roundabout pavement is covered with tree / hedge trimmings., 25th December
The Pavement linking Morrisons to the Premier Inn Liskeard, is covered, end to end, with the hedge / tree trimmings, made from the recent cut made by tractor and mechanical saw. It is dangerous to walk over / around, and visually is a total mess.

Litter not cleared after grass cutting, 7th December
There has been extensive strimming and pruning of the roadside verge between Liskeard and Trerulefoot on the A38 eastbound. However this has exposed a large amount of litter which is extremely ugly.

Litter not cleared after grass cutting, 28th September
On the A38 between Liskeard and Trerulefoot the grass on the central reservation has been cut. This has exposed and chopped up the underlying litter. It has the appearance of a Third World country.

Overspill of loose slate chipping onto pavements, west entrance to Morrisons, 3rd February
Recently Morrisons have added loose slate chippings as a 'mulch' to their grounds / borders. Because of the lay of the land, these slates are now slipping and relocating to the walk ways, public and private, also the grass verges, at the west entrance, making walking awkward / hazardours, particularly moving a push chair, and also for those with sight problems.

Yet another advertising poster fixed to road signs on Island Shop Roundabout southside when leaving A38 to cross flyover into Liskeard, 6th August
A yellow and black poster has been attached to the black and white chevrons signs on the South Island Shop Roundabout before crossing flyover into Liskeard, for 'Wadebridge Antiques'. Since when have road traffic signs been available for public commercial advertising? In evidence approx 1 week. Dangerous distraction for motorists.
