Car travelling too fast around bend left main road and caused extensive damage after landing in our field, 20th November
The road is a 'fast road'. Cars travel along it too fast along the straight and then can't take the (Menadue) bend. This is the most recent incident of many. My family, horses or dogs could've been in the field and would've been killed.

Original Double yellows not replaced after resurfacing now causing obstruction to Brentfields, 24th October
A few months ago the road was resurfaced here. Originally there was double yellow lines. Since the works they have not been replaced. Often there is vehicles parked here which prevent and restricts access to and from Brentfields at the junction. Emergency vehicles such as Ambulances and Fire appliances would be hindered and delayed at accessing any property on that area of Brentfields. Please reinstate the parking restrictions.

Advertising board obstructing footpath and view from road junction, 22nd October
Regular occurance. But there presently. Seaview Holiday Park advertising sandwhich board is on the public footpath causing an obstruction to the right of way and also its location obstructs the view for drivers pulling out onto the A387. It's current location is likely to cause a vehicle collision.

Loose kerbstone, 11th March
Kerb stone is loose and broken near drive entrance to 10 Pleydon Close. Problem was reported by tenant to landord on 26/01/2021 and reported on Fix my Street but tenant has called again today to advise that the repair has not yet been completed.

Dumped builders sack, 18th October
Another builders tonne sack full of materials. It is unacceptable. It must be against COSHH regulations to leave this substance out, especially so close to a school. It is also obstructing a public footpath. It is not a builders yard. Store it elsewhere. This is now a regular occurance. Sort it out please.

A dumpy bag full of cement has been dumped at this location on the public footpath. Please clear as it is not acceptable to use public property as a builder yard. It's been here for about a week already.

More fly tipping here, 1st September
Another bag of rubbish abandoned here. Please remove and do not take as long as you did last time. Over ten days and I had to report it twice before removal. Place a fly tipping illegal sign here too why don't you as it is happening on a weekly basis.

Advertising truck in AONB, 25th August
In my opinion this strategically placed horsebox with advertising banners is here without planning consent I am guessing. I object to it being placed here, in an designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is an eyesore and unacceptable. It is about 20 metres from the coast path. Is there anything the council can do?

Verge needs cutting at dangerous junction, 18th June
Verge needs cutting, dangerous junction of Carey Park and A387. The vegetation is so overgrown it means the junction is blind to car users pulling out of Carey Park on to the A road due to the view if the A road being the brow of the hill. It needs to be cut as a matter of urgency before a car accident takes place.

Safety handrail made unserviceable, 3rd March
The wire barricade that has been erected to stop access to the coast path at the Talland Bay end has been attached to the safety handrail making it unusable. This path is very steep and slippery and dangerous without using the rail- last week my wife slipped backwards while walking down the path and could have been seriously injured had she not been carrying a modest size back pack that broke her fall. Although said to be temporary it has been like this for more than a year .
