All along the road from the signpost to Armston the road edges are breaking down and one of the worst places is halfway between the signpost and Armston and is in need of immediate repair. There is increased traffic to Armston as ongoing building work is being carried out. The issue has become increasingly worse in the last 18 months.

Road is breaking up, 8th April
In front of the RM box the road is breaking and folding up. Several scratchmarks indicate that vehicles have contact with their undershield, exhauster or oilpan. It is slso a trip hazard and hazard to motocyclists. In case someone rips open the car’s oilpan it will be a huge environmental damage to the Barnwell Brook. It was already reported a few times but dissapeared from the list.

Despite a site visit from Highways to identify potholes there are still large potholes in the village which remain unrepaired. This pothole was repaired but work was not good and eroded.

Large area of road crumbling away causing damage to cars and unsafe driving. Dangerous for pedestrians as there is no street lighting. Unsafe for cyclists as hole is wide and deep. This has been there for over two month and getting wider and deeper.

Tree no. C939 Large branch of willow tree has linear split along one bough, 21st March
The bough has a noticeable split which you can see daylight through and if it falls it will cause damage to the power lines. This was reported last year, but has not been attended to.
