FIXMYSTREET IN PE6 0TJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE6 0TJ:
Tons of flytipping, 28th April
The area of land behind the lay-by on the westbound carriageway is absolutely covered with flytipping/littering. You need to send an environmental inspector to this location. If this land is council owned, a major clean up need to take place. If it is private land, you need to contact the land owner and arrange for them to clear it all up. Thanks

You are an absolute shambles, 28th April
Your awful patch work is already failing, lasting less than 1 month. Massive potholes have reappeared. Eastbound adjacent to the lay-by. You took months to carry out this shoddy repair work. You aren't fit for purpose. You are a national embarrassment. Beyond incompetent and road users deserve so much better. You're a disgrace.

Roads uneven, 9th January
Resident calling to say this stretch of road the roads have sunk creating uneven surfaces which consequently drivers are pretty much scraping their exhaust on the road because of how uneven it is. Drivers speed down this stretch and its only a matter of time where an accident will occur.

Memorial getting ever bigger, 6th December
There was a death a few years ago. The family have erected a memorial that gets bigger each year. There are lights, santas, snowmen etc. It is about time this monstrosity was removed. I tried reporting when it was first erected but was passed from council to police with both saying it was the others responsibility.

Dangerous road, 13th December
Another fatality on the B1167 Newcut Road !! God bless . It may be that speed has played a part , but anyone using this busy, rural road will know how bad the quality of the road is. The council had no funds to work on it this year, instead choosing the lesser used French Road to re- surface ( with a lovely washboard effect ) . So what are we paying our rates and road tax for ? How many more could die on this road/ on their own land as cars have left the road and landed in gardens ? It's not safe , as already posted, to bike down here, walk your dog or even cut the verge outside your house , for fear of a car hitting a bump and leaving the road. This road is no longer suitable for the amount of traffic that uses it, and whilst 50 mph speed limit signs have been put , even at that speed ( which is still too high ) hitting one of the bumps will potentially cause loss of control. Please start thinking about people and not budgets , and help to make this road a safe one.

Bumps and road speed, 12th December
The bumps at location are causing a deadily result the past year to all road users. The speed restriction has no impact 24/7. Road users will exceed and misjudge the danger of these bumps. Despite leveling may seem to make fix of bumps it will increase the road as a race track. Safety measures such a sycanes to reduce speed as a vechile has more higher chance in control at 30-40mph is needed. I used to walk and bike this road i wouldnt even attempt in past two years with it becoming worse. My neighbour and i have experienced near misses entering and exiting our drive from being over taken despite indicating into drive. A worker visiting next door did have impact on drive so has occured once already. The road is used more frequent to avoid a47 to wisbech over the years. How many deaths until action. As i have personally lost a sister outside my bungalow in 1994 and its distressing to witness regular accidents amd fatel accidents occuring more consistantly despite weather conditions. Any car new or old mechanically is not safe to ride over the bumps i pray no car experiences a damaged shock or spring that creates a accident itself
