Pothole due to the failure of a recent repair, 12th April
Silt Road, Nordelph. Near junction with A1122, immediately before the river bridge, on a smaller junction and a blind bend, just outside Victoria Chapel.
A recently-made repair to a pothole at this location has started to disintegrate, resulting in a new pothole which is deep and has sharp edges, ideal for damaging tyres - see photos.
Debris from the pothole is spreading across the road causing a further hazard.
This is on a blind bend, on a junction and on the incline of the river bridge.
The pothole is NOT visible to drivers who are approaching it, (those heading toward the bridge).
This is a particular danger to motorcyclists.

Severe dip in road, appeared very recently., 31st August
A1122, Salters Lode, near Downham Market.
Heading toward Wisbech, (Westbound), on the approach to Salters Lode, between the 'white gates' village entry and the 40MPH speed limit signs, (see photo).
A significant dip in the road has become apparent in the last few days. It is of sufficient magnitude that cars passing over it at about 40MPH, (slowing for the approaching speed limit), can be heard grounding on the road surface. The dip is also noticeable in the opposite direction.
This defect has appeared recently, within the last week, and appears to be a warning of the road bed collapsing at this location.
Warning signs would be a wise initial response as this has the potential to be dangerous.

Location on A1122 Downham Market to Wisbech road at Salter's Lode on the right hand carriageway when leaving the village just before the 50mph sign. This pothole and cracks in the road surface have previously been reported to NCC and is now a 15cm deep 25cm x 25cm water filled crater in the road surface, it is not only damaging tyres and suspension but if we experience ground frost – black ice and / or snow it is now a serious slip hazard. Large cracks now extend a distance of 5meters and as mentioned above are a serious hazard that gritting will not rectify. I would appreciate it if this would be inspected by the Highway Inspector and rectified as soon as possible before there is serious accident., 25th January
