Danger to the public: Smashed cast iron drain cover on the village green, Weasenham St Peter, 31st May
There is a smashed cast iron drain cover on Weasenham Village Green that needs to be urgently replaced as is poses a risk to the public. Someone has placed a rectangular cover over over the hole and placed a red road cone on top. However, this is a danger to the public if the rectangular cover is accidentally moved (e.g. when grass cutting takes place). The smashed circular cover appears to be about 20" in diameter but I cannot read the manufacturer name as parts are missing (ends in ..."worth" so possibly Hepworth, Letchworth or something similar).
