Gas work was done by Cadent over three months ago and they left the verge like this They filled in other areas and seeded them (The seed grew) but they did not bother with this. I reported the matter to one of their inspects who said “They left it like a ploughed field” but they still haven’t bothered to sort the problem and have not got back to me after my complaint

Trailer parked on highway causing an obstruction, 19th April
A trailer has been parked on a very narrow side street on Oak Avenue outside house number 30 for the last 24 hours. It is causing an obstruction to larger cars which cannot pass safely so therefore have to mount the pavement. This is an unnecessary obstruction as there is a driveway available therefore it contravenes the High code Rule 242 and RTA. Sec 103 C & U Regs. The trailer is preventing free and clear access to the rest of the road to all vehicles but especially Emergency vehicles which would also have to mount the pavement to pass. Rule 243 and 242 of the HC applies It is parked incorrectly according to the new regulations as it is facing the opposite way to the flow of the traffic so reflector lights cannot be seen. It is not illuminated at night (our street lamps also turn off at night) the trailer could cause a danger and according to Reg 24 RVLR they should be illuminated at night in all circumstances.

Speed limit reminder sign, 31st March
The electric sign that is supposed to flash when a car is going over the speed limit is not working.
Also the speed cars now drive down Langley Road seems to have increased. Especially now it’s used as a cut through. Is there a way the speed limit could be reduced or have further improvements to help reduce the speed of the traffic? A lot of families along the road have small children myself included.
