Dangerous & hazardous, 1st May
I made a previous report and it was updated to say the work had been completed. ( it has not )
The fence is still flying in the wind and prone to falling down. The area has lots of rubbish please see attached photos. There is so much broken glass, beers / alcohol bottles and needles. THIS WHOLE AREA / ROAD NEEDS MAJOR ATTENTION.
The line doesn’t look safe for trains to travel down yet alone for children to play as they do.
The bushes in the alley way need completely clearing as the have become a good disguise for drug dealing and dumping rubbish in.
A bin needs to be installed next to the railway passing gates both ends as children use this to pass.
The paint on the gate is coming off so badly that it become sharp and needs completely replacing as isn’t a safe public access.
The fence has been set on fire in previous years and would do with completely removing as the metal one behind is perfect and was installed in more recent years.

Thorpe Road Closure. Noticed that the closure signs have been changed from the original finish date to now finish in June. You are having a laugh! No works happening for most of the time in any case. What a complete dis-organised SHAMBLES.

Abandoned - no tax or mot, 30th April
It has been left in front of one of our units, unit 20 it has no tax or mot. Car is piled with parts inside and no seats in it. Its a silver Ford Focus estate car no known owner and has just been left there for months. 3 months.

Tree outside 35 Gloucester Road, 30th April
A few years ago a tree was removed as it was dying, this tree was on the boundary line of my neighbour and myself, another tree was planted in its place but for good measure another one was stuck right outside my window. Now the problem is that I cannot carry out any work on my property because I can’t get a lorry with a crane near it as 3 metres away there is a telegraph pole.

Potholes on sliproad, 29th April
There are two pothole at the top of the sliproad and they are getting bigger and deeper. There are also a number of smaller potholes at the bottom of the sliproad which are getting worse.
I keep on seeing people drive through the large potholes which are causing people to swerve and also chunks of the road come out onto the road.
