Erroneous Growth, 8th July
The trees just beyond the traffic calming entering the village of Abbots Ripton from the direction of Monks Wood/Woodwalton/Sawtry are obscuring an already dangerous traffic measure. Even if you stop at the give way markings you cannot see around the bend where traffic is accelerating out of the 30mph speed limit early and the erroneous growth on the trees to the left make this even more difficult. I see so many near misses as I use this route to get to Huntingdon regularly. I wonder who would be held responsible in the event of an accident in these circumstances. This traffic calming measure is unlit, which I believe is no longer acceptable for any form of traffic calming measure. On a semi-blind to fully-blind bend like this one, it is poor planning and should maybe be reviewed with the volume of traffic and near misses. There also appears to be a higher volume of heavy goods (often left-hand drive) vehicles using this unsuitable road system, possibly due to satellite navigation systems misdirecting them. They are often on the wrong side of the road coming off the bend on exiting the village.

Suspected stolen and abandoned vehicle, 12th September
Car (Audi S3, Blue) has been parked on our private road (next to Home Farm Close, Abbots Ripton, PE28 2PT) for more than 4 hours. When searching DVLA it appears to be untaxed. Also there is no number plate at the rear of vehicle, hence I suspect it may be stolen and abandoned.

Large leaning tree adjacent to B1090 in Abbots Ripton, 7th February
We are concerned about a very large tree that is leaning over the road by The Green on the B1090 in Abbots Ripton. With the ground saturated, should it fall then it would be extremely dangerous if anyone or vehicle was in the vicinity. Please have this tree checked out.

Potholes everywhere, 24th October
This road has deteriorated to probably the worst in the County. Nearby roads of similar use and stature have white lines indicating the edge of the road with passing places to allow drivers to wait to be passed. On this road the verges have been allowed to be driven on and the verges now have potholes all over them. Do something as it will cause damage to cars and looks an eyesore.
