I recently reported these on behalf of an elderly neighbour. They were inspected but the lane was deemed to have not deteriorated enough! May I ask what the criteria was that the inspector used and what state of deterioration it needs to be in before it will be repaired!

From the church, past the eves pub and right around the bend on Main Road, 29th February
The pictures show a sample of the drains in the village. It is very representative of numerous drains that are in danger of disappearing under the soil and weeds. All are on the nearside as approached from Spilsby side. Some have disappeared but you can tell where they are with the depression in the ground. This issue is getting worse by the week now. Drainage with current rainfall levels should be a priority. Needs some decent fellows with shovels and one of those drain suckers to do a proper job. I estimate 10-20 drains are similar to the photos.

Ings Lane Little Steeping, 22nd February
Road surface breaking up, pot holes and very poor repair work. This problem has been reported mainly times. Some potholes are filled in with loose chippings and the edges are not sealed. These chippings spread over the lane causing a very unstable and dangerous road surface. A large portion of the lane would benefit by being cleaned by a road sweeper.
