FIXMYSTREET IN PE19 6PT
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE19 6PT:
Tree branches encroaching on property, 22nd November
Tree branches are coming over our property and some branches have fallen off in the recent high winds. We have lived here for 22 years and believed the parish council was responsible for the area including the trees. Recently we have. been told by a parish councillor that the land does not belong to the parish council and is not maintained by the parish council. We would like to know who is responsible for this land that people in the village consider the Village Green. If public property who do we contact to sort out overgrown trees and who is responsible for the maintenance of the lawned area? Would it be possible for us to buy the land?

New potholes just after flood, 18th February
Just after the flood, on the left hand side heading north west towards Offord there are two potholes, getting deeper each day, and causing cars to swerve across the road to avoid them. I’m assuming fix is difficult until the flood subsides.

Long (1 mile) oil slick on eastbound carriageway, 3rd November
Hi,
I noticed this morning that there's a long oil slick on the road in the east-bound direction. It seems to start at the lowest point in Yelling, and carries on eastwards until at least the T-junction with the B1040.
Thanks, Pete
