Tree Preservation Order Application, 23rd November
Staploe Parish Council would like to request a Tree Preservation Order for this cedar tree which was planted in memory of a resident of Staploe (Laurie Bates) by his brother Noel Bates. It is well known and much loved by residents of the parish although it is just outside the parish boundary in Hail Weston Parish. It is now surrounded by solar panels but still accessible.

Vechiles continually exceeding speed limit on kimbolton road corner of green lane. It’s almost impossible to pull out on to kimbolton road from green lane due to vechiles continually exceeding current speed limit. Traffic calming barriers desperately need installing.

Slippery Ford, 24th June
The base of the ford has had moss growth and is now extremely slippery to the point of dangerous. As a cyclist i lost the surface completely and ended up quite badly cutting and bruising myself. I suspect the weather conditions have contributed to this but a warning sign or clearance of the moss is needed. I have never experienced this before here.

Path I useable due to overgrown bushes, 23rd September
The small pavement on the high street between Newtown and the main road (kimbolton road) in hail Weston, is unuseable and pedestrians have to use the road due to the overgrown bushes and weeds.
