Deep and long potholes all along the side, 21st April
Deep and long potholes all along the side of the road both sides. It’s becoming a struggle to drive down there in a car with another vehicle coming towards you without one person needing to hit a pothole. Getting ridiculous, road tax has gone up but road quality going to shit

This whole road surface is an absolute disgrace., 18th February
Just before the junction of Broadend Road om the Eastbound carriageway there is a large pothole and sevwre degrading of the road surface. This is a staggered junction which is problematic, and somewhere there are many accidents - some deadly. The road surface continuing on the Eastbound carriageway towards the Shell Garage/Starbucks/Worzels roundabout is littered with deep potholes and crumbling road surface that cannot be avoided. These are deep and dangerous especially with all the rain when they are filled and not immediately visible to drivers. The road surface has been deteriorating for many months now but the recent rainfall and freezing temperatures have exacerbated the issue. If the surface isn't repaired soon, there will.likely be a very serious accident.
How have you enabled it to get in such dangerous condition is concerning.

Numerous large potholes., 16th November
This junction from the A47 leading to Broadend West in Walsoken is in a very dangerous condition. Many large pot holes force vehicles to use the other side of the road and slow right down when exiting. It really is an accident waiting to happen!

Electronic safety signs not working, from both directions, 2nd November
These electronic signs, on the A47 approaches from east and west, designed to warn fast traffic on the A47, of vehicles waiting to join or cross the A47, at the Broadend Road junction, do not work at all. They were installed because this is a dangerous crossing and they should be in full working order. They've been out of order for some months and have been reported before.

Drainage and flooding issues, 5th September
Hello, I am not sure if I have the correct department regarding my issue. I work for UK Power Networks, we have a large site at the entrance to the village of Walsoken we have been having flooding issues at our site and also at a small industrial site called 5 Star Cases Ltd. I have had a drainage company do a report on the issue here and one of the main areas identified was a small culvert/bridge on the main road going into Walsoken. The road is called Broadend Road, and the ditch runs from around our site and a large piece of land and then down to the roadside, at this point a blockage is stopping any water from running away from this area into the main drain. I am aware that we also have some work to do on our ditches but until the ditch in question is sorted it would be pointless for us to do any further work. I would be happy to meet someone out at the site to discuss the issue further if it would help. If your department is not the one I should be contacting could you please point me in the right direction.

Electronic safety signals, 4th August
The dangerous junction electric signs are not working. They were designed to warn approaching traffic to slow, when there is traffic waiting to join the A47. Operated by sensors in the road surface. They haven't worked for some time and it's dangerous. There is also overhanging tress obscuring one of the signs. The parish council have reported this issue recently but nothing has been done to repair the fault.
