Now the 4th time this has been reported - damaged grating causing trip hazard., 29th April
I have just received an update on this problem saying that it’s fixed. Regrettably not. There is still the large yellow covering causing just as much of a trip hazard as the damaged grating it is covering. I really am at a loss to know why this problem is considered as being fixed.

On Queens Road, close to junction of St Paul's Road and Thames Road, 29th April
Slow leaking water from underground has been present for over a week. Hard to discern with wet weather but now it is dry, it is apparent it is coming from underground. Road is now breaking away in chunks and lumps of road tarmac are now on the road. Water leak? Anglian Water?

This is the third time this has been reported. The first time, a large plastic cover plus a traffic cone was placed over the damaged cover, and it was replied to as “fixed” despite this being just as much a trip hazard as the original metal cover. The second time it was replied to as “good news” because the work had been issued out for completion. Months later, the traffic cone has disappeared, the plastic cover trip hazard remains, and nothing has yet been done.

Top grit all over the road., 20th April
Whoever highways hired to repair the pot holes and signed off the job needs dismissing. A total waste of our rates and public money and resources. Not done properly and cleaned up. You need to inspect and repair to avoid standard.
