Has been getting worse over months. Vehicles turn off from A9 into 824 is a manoeuvre that has tobe quick as you are crossing a 70 mph dual carriage way. Any vehicle with small or narrow tyres could lose their steering and possibly hit a vehicle waiting to cross the A9 to go south.

Please provide safe crossing for pedestrians & cyclists, 17th October
This location could provide a safe crossing point across the A9 for pedestrians & cyclists heading from Dunning to Crieff. This route is featured on some active travel route planning apps, eg Komoot. However at present the crossing is extremely dangerous due to the speed & volume of traffic and the lack of any safe crossing infrastructure. Please provide a safe crossing here for people walking & cycling. Thanks.

Unnessessary road closure signs, 5th January
The roadside Road Closed and the listing on the BBC website of the road Between Auchterarder and Aberuthven is the reason that official information is brought into disrepute and people disregard signs when there is a real problem. I drive the road twice a day and the only problem is two 10yard lengths of floodwater only on one side of the road. It would be more useful if flood warning signs only were used.
