Temporary repairs to potholes, 9th September
Recently, potholes in my area (Quarriers Village, Inverclyde) have been repaired by a machine operated by one person. The machine looks very expensive and sophisticated. However, the finished repair is barely smoother than the original road damage and the process leaves a large quantity of loose stones that are picked up by other vehicles and can cause paint and windscreen damage. Please tell me that this is a temporary process in lieu of a proper patch repair.

Urgent - Dangerous road subsidence, 30th March
This is more than a pothole, the road surface has collapsed approx 3ft x 2ft x 9" deep. The hole is on the nearside of the road going West and any vehicle which does not swerve will get wheel/suspension damage and cyclists and motorcyclists are likely to be seriously injured. The hole is on a blind corner.
