FIXMYSTREET IN PA3 3TQ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PA3 3TQ:
Pedestrian crossing not visible, 29th April
So basically this pedestrian crossing in Johnstone has been an issue for many years so cars Turing out of William Street and turning right onto Johnstone High Street can be difficult and I don't think crossing from Johnstone Houston square to poundbasket is safe we need to either put in another pedestrian crossing or 2nd option would be making William Street one way for traffic going down the way and keep Coiller Street for going up as a 1 way and and changing the pedestrian crossing for a traffic light junction because crossing here is a maze and I don't think the give way and no entry signs are doing much for traffic and to put an traffic light junction here is going to be conjested a solution needs to be in place here because at the end of the day someone is going to be either hurted or even killed at this junction we need more side road streets with Zebra Crossings.

Pavement is totally unusable, 7th April
The hedge is out of control, it is overhanging the road at the top, and the clearly visible pavement is totally unusable. I have lost count of the number of times I have reported this, before Christmas I had a number of emails reassuring me that someone was visiting the property and making sure the required actions were taken, and then no more emails, and still a swallowed pavement. Why is it acceptable for a household to completely obstruct a pavement and force people to walk in the road? There is pavement before it and pavement after it, so it's definitely pavement. If I decided to increase my front garden by fencing off the pavement to the edge of the curb I would have someone on my doorstep within minutes telling me to remove the fence, but somehow a hedge is ok, why?

Causing persistently large amounts of stagnant water covering the road and pavement and causing difficulty in entering Solid Rock Gym safely. This has been for at least 3 weeks now and needs urgent attention. This is a health and safety issue which should be of great concern to the council and needs fixed urgently. Thank you!

Multiple potholes on main entrance to estate, 18th March
This is a complete disgrace. The state of the road entrance when you turn in to the main road to the estate is beyond a joke. There are numerous potholes all over the road which forces cars to swerve to avoid them. The state of the whole road is shocking. All that is constantly done is temporary repairs and then within weeks they are back to the previous condition. The potholes that are fixed make the whole road surface uneven and you car slides about over these temporary fixes. The whole stretch of road over the first 100yards needs fully resurfaced. This is not an acceptable state for any estate road to be left in
