One large pothole, 1st May
These potholes are right on a junction. The white car in the photo had stopped to let us go past before they swerved to continue straight on. I am highlighting this particular hole/s, but Henrietta Street and Girnigoe Street are both full of potholes. Accidents waiting to happen. ????

Whole street is in a shocking state, 1st May
This is a main street in Wick and people are having to swerve to avoid the numerous potholes. I have not been in Wick since August 2022, but have been hearing about the potholes. However, nothing prepared me for the current state of the roads in Caithness. The main A9 is fine, but I have NEVER seen potholes like the ones in Wick (in particular), but also Caithness in general. Bridge Street is basically one big pothole. I worry that the state of the road could easily cause a fatal accident.

Large pot holes on road in an area where children are playing, 23rd April
Their is several large potholes , craters on the road up at the top of Macleod Road right next to a kids Playpark . Very dangerous for anyone that stumbles over it or even worse a child could severely hurt themselves. Cars have to go over this to turn also as it’s a dead end street , folk dropping kids at the Playpark making this crater worse by the day.

Blocked drains, 16th April
2 drains blocked in the front of kinnaird street beside the doctors housing. After a shower of rain it looks like this. Even worse when there’s been a lot of rain. It floods.

Kidsa playing ball in henrietta court, wick, 15th April

Neighbours tree, 14th April
I’ve reported this loads off times and have honestly lost the will. My neighbours tree needs cut back or down. It’s absolutely massive and there’s phone lines going through it and it just keeps growing. Cut it back or cut it down it’s ridiculous

A lot of deep pot holes at Lochshell, 10th April
A number of potholes at the side of the road on the Eastbound lane. The major pothole by the entrance to Gerry Henderson yard is now very deep to the point that drivers are now stopping and driving around the pothole rather than risking going through it. You can now class this as a traffic obstruction.

Temporary patched holes now opening up., 10th April
The temporary patched potholes (patched 27th Jan 24) outside the wick train station on the corner have opened up again due to the amount of traffic that is on this road. Hopefully the Highland Council can now see that a more substantial repair is needed.

Large pothole growing by the day, 10th April
A pothole has open up on the south bound carriage way directly outside the cliff bakery in the last few weeks and you can almost see it growing in recent days. Lots of gravel around the pot hole and hard edges, 100+mm deep. If not fixed soon vehicles will soon have to used the other half of the road to get around this pothole.
