Deep potholes along the stretch of road, 25th March
It seams as if someone can afford to resurface the parking place by the cattle grid, but can't afford to surface the road that was in more need. It must be one of the worse roads in the area, probably caused over the excess use over the last few years when the heads of the valleys was closed for upgrading.

Pot holes galore on the B4248 but that’s not the only issue, 19th February
Side, centre road markings and reflective road studs are non-existent on entire stretches of B4248 between the World Heritage site of Blaenavon and Heads Of The Valleys link road at Brynmawr. The surface of the road is also loose, potholed and broken in many areas. I have observed drivers trying to avoid the potholes by swerving into the oncoming lane. There have been many accidents on this road, some fatal. Yet it’s never properly maintained, it’s dangerous and should be replaced entirely if it cannot be repaired properly.
