The vehicles in question are awaiting repair by the One Stop garage. The pavement they are parked on is part of the main road from New Tredegar to Phillipstown, The vehicles parked there not only stop pedestrians from being able to use the pavement, but also block the junction. Car's damaged by kids, 13th June
I'm getting a little irritated, as is my partner, of kids damaging cars in the street with ball games and blatant lack of respect when it comes to other people's property and possessions. My partner and I have asked the kids to be more careful around the cars which changes nothing (except the "it wasn't us" or "it didn't touch the car"...which obviously it did or we wouldn't be telling them) as they still do it now and we are fed up of them being regularly scratched by having balls kicked at them and scooters/bikes dragged past them.
The parents know that the kids do it but don't seem to be doing anything about it, I even heard one kid say "That's my mother's car be careful but don't worry about the others" so I don't know exactly what they have been told but they still do it. I'm pretty sure the parents wouldn't like to foot the bill to have all the scratches taken out, which it may come to if things carry on because I'm fed up of having to touch up the paint every few weeks as a result of the kids lack of care.
There is a ball park at the end of the street which they don't want to use as they'd much rather kick a ball about in a confined gap between people's cars!

Rubbish, untaxed vehicles from start of the street to the end!, 20th February
It would be lot easier to explain what is ok here! Tonight I have found that at least 14 of cars parked in this tinny street are untaxed/mot. Without of this street has no parking space and brown bins left in the street are blocking half of pavements! Rear lanes has been used as tips and Caerphilly council or DVLA even multiple notifications has done NOTHING! Can any one advise what can we do? Thank You
