Uneven road surface and potholes around speed humps, 18th March
The road surfaces around the speed humps - all bar one - have eroded along Usk Road. Any vehicle that has a low clearance now scrapes over the obstructions when road wheels straddle the hump. Parking along this stretch and oncoming traffic means that they have to be straddled as opposed to rolled over. However, when using the latter option, even at very low speeds - crawling rates, those of us with spinal issues then have to suffer in other ways as the rise/fall of the humps is so great. These issues have been reported multiple times and still nothing is done. It’s as if the Council doesn’t mind discriminating against the less physically abled. And with introduction of the 20MPH limit, why are they now necessary?
