email rcvd 26.03.24 - Dear Highways,
There are increasingly deteriorating potholes, at the end of Underhill, Brockweir, Chepstow. I understand that one pothole has been filled in, but there are many more requiring filling. This is increasingly dangerous for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.

Multiple extensive holes in road due to water damage., 12th February
I reported an overflowing stream on the road causing damage a month ago (Ref: 5389056), on Jan 3rd.
This was ignored, set as 'completed' on Jan 12th with no action taken. I responded saying it hadn't been complete, to no avail.
The road is now dangerous, with significant large holes. This needs to be fixed asap. I raised another ticket which was set as 'completed' - but nothing has been done. I spoke to Highway workmen who visited this morning and acknowledged action needs to be taken.
Please leave this ticket open until works are truly completed, so I can understand progress.

Long length of deep edged pothole on incline bend., 15th March
Fixed badly in the past, this long pothole is difficult to avoid because the road here is barely one car wide. For two wheeled transport, this could be deadly given the road steepness and the almost blind bend.

Trellech Road Tintern just off A466, 3rd January
As you leave A466 on to Trellech road just prior to the Wye Valley Hotel there is a large area of damage over half the road on the Wye Valley side. I first saw this on 24th December. I know it has been reported by others.
