FIXMYSTREET IN NP15 1QQ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NP15 1QQ:
Pothole now 50mm deep and 300mm long, 31st December
This pothole on the southbound lane was first reported in October 2023. It is growing in area and depth. Cyclists are having to swerve at the last minute to avoid the hazard putting them at risk. That this pothole is at a junction and road narrowing - where flooding occurs northbound to further narrow the carriageway - is especially concerning.

Reference Council Service Request 17608177, 29th June
This marker denotes where a failing drain has created a pothole that is difficult to miss. The original FixMyStreet report was sent to the Council and a fault report (Ref: 17608177) generated. The marker in that fault report is shown in a different location, i.e. located at a nearby property. I have received a message for “user input” though it is unclear what input is necessary. Hopefully this clarifies whatever issue there is.

Weed and soil buildup in roadside drainage channels, 3rd October
Weed treatment has not been carried out in Kennett Grange this year. Weeds are becoming more prolific and will damage the Marshall pavers that form the roadway and pavements. Some are showing signs of movement in the pavement adjacent to Nos 3 and 4 Kennett Grange. Soil buildup is becoming an issue outside the Old School House and surface water, unable to run in the drainage channel, is spilling across the roadway. This will become more of a problem as the cold weather takes grip and icing occurs.

Collapsing manhole on Ton Road, 28th July
A manhole located in the roadway, opposite 1 Kennett Grange and near the entrance to Glan-y-Nant, appears to be collapsing. The cover has been loose for some time but lately, the road surface east of the manhole has started to bulge as if the structure below it is moving. The cover is directly in the path of vehicles heading west and is therefore driven over by every vehicle that passes by. The noise made by the cover appears to be getting louder as the deterioration continues.
