Dangerous pavements, 14th July
I am a disabled person and navigating these pavements just is not possible. I have to walk on the road because I find them difficult to walk on and it causes me a lot of pain. Please can something be done about this? Anyone with a pushchair or wheelchair cannot use them and has to go onto the road?

Constantly flooded bottom of footpath ramp down to riverside walk, 13th April
The bottom of the ramp down from bridge street to the riverside footpath is basically permanently flooded with a huge puddle. Has been like this for 1+ years but probably less bad in the summer/long periods of dry weather. Should be fixed as probably prevents less mobile people who can’t jump the railing from accessing the footpath, unless they have wellies!

Scrap yard on the footpath, 1st August
The pavement along the main street in Usk is full of scrap metal and tat. Most being a trip hazard and an obstruction to wheelchairs and an obstacle course for the blind lady and her white stick. The miserable shop owner was obnoxious and fowl mouthed when challenged about the mountain of tat dumped on the pavement. Not a good advert for the beautiful town of Usk. Does he have a traders licence to block the footpath?

Black Barn Close Street Nameplates in Dire Condition, 9th April
The street name plates for Black Barn Close are in terrible condition. Damaged and barely legible. Delivery drivers and visitors are unable to find the street due to the lettering being faded and one of the signs has been hit by a vehicle and is very damaged. I’ve been trying to get these replaced for ages now through the council and I’m really disappointed it hasn’t been done yet as it really looks truly awful!
