Bensham Rd/Prince Consort Rd roundabout lanes painted incorrectly, 26th February
The attached photos show the lanes on the Bensham Road/Prince Consort Road roundabout as they exist - with an inner lane (labelled B) that never exits the roundabout - and as they should be - with the lanes spiralling out as they do on every other roundabout in the country.
Turning right on this roundabout, you can either follow the arrows and ignore the lanes - by starting in lane B and changing to lane A on the roundabout - or you can follow the lanes and ignore the arrows - by always using lane A. These equally incorrect approaches are mutually incompatible. This will certainly cause car crashes if it hasn't already.
The solution is very straightforward. Repaint the lanes.

Charles Street road markings confusing, 2nd March
The road markings and signage on Charles st approaching the roundabout are very confusing, this was originally a 3 lane roundabout (now 2), it somewhat made sense that the offside lane was straight ahead and right turn as you could choose lane 2 or 3 for the A184.
Now the roundabout is 2 lanes and the A184 is the 3rd exit, you cannot stay in bensham road lane and turn onto the A184, by anyone's definition this is a right only lane.

Burned out Kwik Save building dangerous, 23rd September
The burned out Kwik Save building has not been properly secured or made safe.
The interior of the dangerous structure and curtilage are easily accessible to children and others (there are paths used on both sides).
The roof seems composed of loose slates supported by charred supports, and in this weeks high winds, it appears even more of a risk to passers by.
Could Gateshead Council please expedite the process of making this site properly safe for passing residents and nearby businesses, and ideally remove this eyesore competely.
The site urgently needs at the very least a secure perimeter and the most dangerous structural aspects attending to.
