Dangerous road due absent / faded markings, 30th March
Hi! The road markings on the road through Doddington are gone in places and faded away in others. The road in is on a slope and has bends and cars regularly drive in the middle of the road - risking collisions due to the poor visibility. The lack of markings means there is no guidance for traffic which exacerbates the issue. Add to this the lack of footpaths and lighting, as well as a bus stop, and you have a real danger for pedestrians. Several near misses have been reported to the Parish council and we are also campaigning for a slower speed limit. Having markings restored would undoubtedly help and I would appreciate you looking into this. Sorry there are no photos - but it would be dangerous to take them. Thank you!

Damaged stile, damaged fencing, illegible sign, 9th March
Hello! I spoke to our county councillor who asked me to report this. The footpath is used often by walkers but the stile is dangerous, the slab nearby uneven, and the signpost made of wood is rotten and illegible. Also the wire fence is regularly vandalised to allow dogs through - this allows sheep to escape onto the nearby busy B road and the road to the golf course. Our suggestion is a new wooden fence with stile and adjacent dog panel to allow access for dogs and prevent vandalism and dangerous conditions from the sheep escaping. This has been a long time issue. Hoping you can help! Thanks
