NCC ARE CLAIMING THIS HAD BEEN FIXED! ARE THEU HAVING A FLIPPING LAUGH? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE! There are smashed up bricks left in the shrub beds, they have not been cleaned up.
What does NCC take me for, do they think I will be going away like a good little boy and forget about this utter eyesore?
I shall be reporting this to my councillor.
I expect this to be cleaned up.

Overhanging Branch and Lighting, 25th April
I would be ver grateful if this tree outside my flat (15 Elsdon Drive Ashington) could be trimmed down as it has a dangerously overhanging branch which is more lower when in full leaf and could damage or serious injury to person(s) or vehicles if brought down in a strong wind. Also this tree when if full leave blocks light entering my home and interferes with my Internet signal occasionally dropping out, this proves very frustrating as my son works from home and relies on the internet when dealing with customers. I am not asking for this tree to be removed completely, but would be grateful if it were trimmed to an expected level. If this branch were brought down in a strong wind you the Council would be liable for any injurys to the public and damage to any vehicles including mine parked outside my home. I hope you can find an acceptable solution to this problem... Thank you.

Ashington side of Wansbeck Riverside Park, 25th April
I have been down the Riverside Park this Morning and the Stakeford side of the Riverside park are having their second grass cutting of the year. On the Ashington side we still await our first cut. Can someone explain the imbalance here.

A Other problem has been found, 25th April
Low fencing rails were installed by NCC to protect the grass verges in between Myrtle Street and Poplar Street, to prevent cars from parking on the grass. Some of the rails have been broken for some time and are just laying on the ground. Customer says they've been reported repeatedly - she would like to know when they are going to be repaired??

Dumping ground, 25th April
The shrub beds along 2nd Avenue are a disgrace, full of smashed bricks weeds and litter. Yes they were cut back but once again just left. They all need removing and the the whole of 2nd Avenue tarmacked! If this was done years ago this would have saved thousands of pounds and man hours trying to sort this utter eyesore out! NCC needs to get a grip on Ashington!
