Household articles disposed in bottle bank, 30th April
The Bottle Bank on Pinewood Drive Lancaster Park, Morpeth is in considerable disrepair. This was reported 6 months ago and is currently being "investigated". Several residents have offered to repair this compound but no permission has been given. Partly due to the poor state of the compound some people seem to think it is a general dumping ground. Currently, apart from the picture, there are many batteries and considerable liter and glass strewn everywhere near the glass bins.

Need for grip surface on bridge, 29th April
The bridge has been fixed and looks great thank you. The only concern is that the old bridge was covered with a surface grip and stopped people slipping. We were wondering if this is in plan to be fitted please?. The wood planks will get slippery in the rain with mud and the area will probably get covered in moss.

This tree has got so large that during the spring and summer months we get no sky tv signal at all. They will not give us a reduction or refund unless we cancel it which is not an option as we have an autistic daughter who depends on certain channels. We have tried 3 different positions with the sky dish but makes no difference at all. Can we please request this tree be trimmed back asap to avoid anymore issues

Non residents parking on an Access Only road, 26th April
Abbey View and surrounding streets in the High Stanners area is an Access Only road. However it is increasing being used used for daily parking by non residents and who do not require access to premises and or land adjacent to the road. The area from 6 Abbey View to 11 Abbey View is badly effected by cars being parked along the road by non residents causing problems for residents in finding sufficient space to park their vehicles. There is an Except for Access signage at the beginning of Abbey Terrace opposite Mulan Restaurant but does not appear to be having any impact. Would it be possible to erect another Except for Access sign opposite 6-11 Abbey View possibly next to the lamp post or No Camping sign that already exists on the grass in this area. I believe this may have a positive impact and reduce the number of non residents from parking in the area which is a causing issues for residents and restricts traffic flow on already narrow roads.

Dangerous parking on faded yellow lines, 26th April
Faded double yellow lines outside goose Hill private nursery. This allows cars to park on the junction of bennetts walk, double park on goosehill Parents park outside the nursery which obstructs the view from bennetts walk onto goosehill and like wise goose hill onto bennetts walk causing the need to pull out onto the road to gain a clear view. Also risk of children running straight into the road between parked cars. Cars also park bumped up on the kerb which hinders anyone with a wheelchair, scooter or pram forcing them to go into the road. A traffic warden presence would be beneficial aa a deteriant together with re painted yellow lines. There is a new car park which is patrolled and patrolled by the waterford pub. These 2 measures would ensure safety all round. I have emailed to school numerous times to no avail. Plan Repaint the double yellow lines and signage Patrol during busy times even if its a couple times a week on different days. Parents will soon get the message. Just as a side note, in case you advise patrols are viaable out the school. In my 12 years of living on bennetts walk I have never seen a warden near the nursery.
