Flooding from highway into premises, 15th April
On the 9th of April we experienced heavy rainfall, water running down the B6295 flowed across the pavenet and down in Allen Mill Yard and ultimately in to the brewery. This impacted our business as we had to stop production and close our retail shop to deal with water ingress. This is the second time this has happened within the last couple of months, the previous occasion we were not on site and the ingress was much more widespread and included damage to stock, materials and equipment.

A drainage ditch up the road at what 3 words is blocked rider.bandstand.puff, 12th April
On Tuesday, after the rains both the drains and the ditch were blocked, with the result that rivers were running into the properties on the South side of The Dene. Residents tried to unblock the drains but there is still a huge blockage at the location shown causing rain and food water to overflow and cascade down the road.

Suspected sink holes on Shield Street near where road sunk previously, 10th April
A local resident has been keeping a eye on two holes that have appeared on the opposite side of the road outside Lucania on Shield Street, Allendale, NE47 9BP that could be the start of possible sinkholes as the tarmac is sinking and it's not broken up. The location of it is just down from where the road sweeper sunk in years ago. We are concerned that if the double decker service bus happens to stop on that spot it may give way and cause a bigger problem. Please would you investigate urgently. Thank you.
