A Flooding problem has been found, 12th February
Road works have been completed regarding previous FMS report about the road flooding, however its still not resolved. Really what needs to happen is we need to make a bump with tarmac in the road so this stops water from flowing down the bank if possible. Many thanks.

Part of road badly damaged, 12th September
Part of the road is missing and instead of the water running down the road it is running down our track washing away all the gravel causing a lot of damage to our track. I have spent hundreds of pounds on new gravel for the track and when it rains it just gets washed away. There is now a big hole where it enters the track which I keep having to try and cover up. Makes it very difficult to get in and out with vehicles especially with a trailor on. Could this please be repaired as soon as possible.

Missing white lines following resurfacing, 28th January
Areas of the road between Allenheads and Coalclough were resurfaced by Northumberland County Council in Summer 2022. The white lines on these sections have not been reinstated following the works. In heavy fog it is now very disorientating to have visibility of white lines that suddenly disappear making navigation difficult.

Sharp depression, 9th February
There is a small but sharp depression in the road just before Carrshields. It has been filled a couple of times but keeps appearing again. Looks as though there is a problem underneath the road surface rather than the top layer of tarmac. This could be dangerous for a motor cyclyst or cyclist and could also damage a cars steering.
