Abandoned vehicle, 15th January
Car abandoned white Renault van. Reported to police, dvsa as no tax or mot. Council are rubbish as staff keep redirecting, get an automated service, on hold for 30 minutes on 4 occasions then phone line cuts off. Still there since last September 2022. Kids are trying to break in / even set fireworks off it. Chased off. Pay council tax , tax payer, own car tax. Still none of the services are bothered.
So don't rely on Newcastle City Council.

100 (yes: 100) large bins left open by refuse collectors, 6th April
So this has been going on for several months- and now the council want bollards to reduce the litter (not sure how that works) and a few CCTV cameras (costing £41,000 in the first month!)- more detail on What do they know) Every time the bin van collects these 1100 litre bins they completely refuse to lock the huge lids (leaving the deposit lid useable) as a result every one of these bins is open and spewing rubbish out into the street. They have been e Mailed - but not one thing has been done about this.
